When calling a limousine service, it’s important to know that we are not in the same market as Uber, LYFT, or a taxi service. We cater to an entirely different category. Luxury chauffeured transportation isn’t simply “driving” you from point A to B. It is fundamentally more involved than that and therefore more costly. In our industry, many operators are to blame for not taking the time to better educate their clients, as a result, we receive several calls a month from customers who ask for “a cheap ride to the airport”, or call expecting a limousine service to be cheaper than an Uber… There is nothing “cheap” about chauffeured transportation. What do we mean by that? In contrast to ride sharing, taxis, and airport shuttle vans, chauffeured transportation operators go to great lengths to provide a premium experience and level of service. However, not all operators are the same. For us, there are countless qualities that set us apart from run-of-the-mill drivers or shuttles. These benefits should be considered when calling for a limousine or chauffeured car. Compared to an Uber or a cab, we will never be the cheapest, because we are not meant to be. but you always get what you pay for. Thats not to say that there is anything wrong with getting a cheap ride to the airport, or an affordable ride across town, we all need one now and again. It’s just not the service our organizations provide. We cater to a customer who wants and expects an elevated and special experience. It’s the same reason we don’t ask the Ritz hotel for a cheap room. It’s just not the type of product they provide.
